A child was hit in the first term of 2025, and has not returned to school as a result of injuries sustained.

We have an eclectic and diverse group of stakeholders representing Avondale Primary School, Avondale residents, the City of Harare, Zimbabwe Republic Police - Avondale Police Station, the Swedish Embassy, environmental activists, road safety experts, and a super talented photographer.

Together we aim to rapidly implement traffic calming before the second term starts.
